Tasting Notes: The Agostino Pavia & Figli “Blina” Barbera d’Asti is a bright red color, with aromas of red berries and minerality on the palate. Classic Barbera notes with bright raspberry and cranberry and a long finish. Pairs well with fall dishes such as braised lamb shank and rabbit.
Estate History: Single vineyard Barbera from pioneer Piedmontese producer Agostino Pavia. The “figli” in the name comes from Agostino’s sone, Giuseppe and Mauro. Between the two single vineyard labels “Blina” and “Moliss”, less than 5000 cases are produced.
