Estate History: Garganuda is the project of Andrea Fiorini Carbognin, who was inspired by the winemaking traditions of his grandparents from an early age. Driven by a desire to produce wine as it was once made, free from conventional processes, he embarked on his own winemaking journey. A pivotal moment was his meeting and collaboration with Stefano Menti, who helped Andrea transition his small parcels of land, including plots rented from his uncle, to biodynamic farming practices. The philosophy centers on hands-off winemaking, using organic and biodynamic methods, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and minimal intervention, resulting in natural, unfiltered wines that are a pure expression of the volcanic and clay-limestone terroir of the Veneto region.
