Tasting Notes: The Via Alpina Pinot Grigio is a project from the great Venica winemaker, Giampaolo Venica. He is working with young growers across Collio in Friuli that dry farm and use organic methods. Incredible value here, with citrus and tropical notes melding together on the nose and palate and a long, clean finish. Try with some prosciutto or hard cheses.
