Estate History: San Salvatore is in the heart of the Cilento National Park, near Paestum, Stio and Giungano, in Campania. With 149 hectares devoted to organically farmed agriculture, San Salvatore has quickly become one of Italy's most environmentally-concious azienda agricolas. In 2006 Giuseppe Pagano, created San Salvatore from a series of unique plots of land in Cilento and various vineyards across the region. The winery is named for Giuseppe's firstborn son, Salvatore, who was born in 1988.
Tasting Notes: The San Salvatore Fiano has an enticing aromatic profile of wild herbs, stone fruits and a touch of acaia. On the palate you find green banana, peach and a balanced and nuanced minerality bringing it all together.
