Tasting Notes: The Fontanafredda Alta Langa Brut Contessa Rosa Rose is a vibrant and elegant sparkling wine, with a delicate salmon-pink hue and a fine, persistent effervescence. Its bouquet is highly complex and intense, featuring aromas of wild red berries, orange blossom, pomegranate, and bread crust. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, balanced by a fine acidity and a distinct mineral freshness. Estate History: Among the splendid rolling hills of the Langhe, in the heart of Piedmont, stands the beautiful Fontanafredda estate, which once belonged to King Vittorio Emanuele II who n turn gave it to Rosa Vercellana, a commoner with whom he had fallen madly in love. An ancient love story, kept alive by the modern Fontanafredda team, with particular attention to that desire to renew and improve that which has always distinguished the company, now a point of reference in the Langa area. Here, indeed the passion for wine, for the land and for tradition finds its most concrete expression.
