Tasting Notes: Originally founded in 1820, the Movia winery and estate in Brda (Slovenia) had already become one of Europe’s most famous wineries in the years that followed World War II. Today, the estate primarily grows Rebula, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir — all without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides. This Sauvignon Blanc glows with a clear, golden yellow color in our glass. Its bouquet is alluring, intense with aromas of papaya, mango, ripe pineapple, dried yellow roses and acacia.
