Tasting Notes: The Benvenuto Zibibbo is super fresh and dry, exuding aromas and flavors of aromatic dried herbs and flowers with apricot, lemon, melons and spicy ginger.
Estate History: Giovanni Benvenuto has revived his grandfathers vines of native Calabrian white grape variety called Zibbibo di Pizzo which was destined to be extinct. Pizzo is a little sea town known for the famous dessert “Tartufo di Pizzo” and is where Giovanni’s five hectare vineyard sits 900 meters above sea level in one the five provinces in Calabria named Vibo Valentia.
